Tax Appeal Information
Any resident who feels their assessed valuation is not reflective of the true market value of their property has the right to file a 2009 tax appeal. The appeal must be filed after January 1, 2010 and before April 1, 2010. The appeal must be supported by three to five comparable 2009 sales, which closed prior to October 1, 2009.
You may stop into the Tax Office at the Borough Hall to review a list of sold properties and property data records of potential comparables for use in preparation of your appeal.
