12/9/2010- Burglaries to cars and a home were reported during the overnight hours in the north-east section of town.  Please notify the Police to any suspicious or unusual activity. 

 

9/10/2010- Several car burglaries occurred during the overnight hours in the north end of town.  Residents are encouraged to lock their doors, keep valuables out of sight, park in a well lit area, and to notify the Police to any suspicious or unusual activity.  All cars that were entered were not locked

 

8/29/2010- Attempted burglary (Jason Drive) and a completed burglary (Norman Terrace).

 The Spring Lake Heights Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their doors when leaving and to watch for and report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.  On Sunday, August 29th, at approximately 6pm a resident confronted a white male who was attempting to enter a residence on Jason Drive.  The resident stated that the male was trying to open a locked door to a home whose owners are away on vacation.  The resident then advised that when he confronted the individual he quickly left the area on a bicycle.  The actor is described as a 6 foot white male riding a silver/green colored bicycle.  Approximatley 1 hour later a Norman Terrace resident reported that someone had broken into his home as he discovered a broken window in the rear of the residence.  Upon further investigation the homeowner reported that several hundred dollars in cash and jewelry were taken.  The police department would like to make everyone aware that the borough of Sea Girt has had approximately 10 residential burglaries over the past few months.

5/5/2010- Car buglaries have been reported during the overnight hours in the north end of town. Please notify the Police about any suspicious or unusual activity.  Keep your home and vehicle doors locked and keep any valuablesout of sight.

 

10/7/2009-Several car burglaries took place during the overnight hours in the north-west section of town, including several in Wall Township.  Please notify the Police to any suspicious or unusual activity.***SUSPECT APPREHENDED***

 

8/12/2009- Several car burglaries occurred during the overnight hours in the south end of town.  Residents are encouraged to lock their doors, keep valuables out of sight, park in a well lit area, and to notify the Police to any suspicious or unusual activity.
