Volunteers are the life blood of a community, particularly in a small town like Spring Lake Heights.  

 Mayor H. Frances Enright announces the creation of the Spring Lake Heights Volunteer Appreciation Program.   The Volunteer Appreciation Program seeks to properly acknowledge the efforts of members of the Spring Lake Heights community, who through their volunteerism and self-sacrifice, demonstrate their love of community, work toward its improvement and the betterment of its residents

The following criteria are utilized in reviewing and judging nominations:

How are honorees recognized?
Honorees will be recognized by a Mayoral Proclamation bestowed at a public meeting and posted on the Borough's webpage.  A Roster of Honorees and their accomplishments will be maintained by the Borough.  The Borough will contact the local press and other government officials to bring additional light to the Honorees' community service.

How can I submit a nomination?
To nominate a volunteer, email Mayor H. Frances Enright at fenright@springlakehts.com and provide her the following information:

(1)  Your Name, Address and Contact information

(2)  The Name, Address and Contact Information of your Nominee

(3)  The Story of your Nominee

            (a)  ACTION  - What does your nominee do?

            (b)  NEED - What community need does your nominee address?

            (c)  IMPACT - What is different as a result of your nominees' service?

            (d)  INSPIRATION - What makes your nominee special or unique?
